Two 8vo volumes.  First Edition of this significant Balcan travel account by renouned English military officer and traveler, George Keppel (1799-1891).  Uniformly bound in period half-crushed morrocco bindings over marbled boards with marbled endpapers.   A  beautiful set, but unfortunately without the Maps and Aquatint illustrations bound in (these have not been removed - they truly seem to have been left out or were perhaps originally bound separately in their own book.)  Price reflects illustrations not being present.
