Carroll, Lewis. Alice in Wonderland. With 42 illustrations by John Tenniel. Early printing with "Twenty-eighth Thousand" stated on title page. Very good condition and in original light red cloth with gilt titles and decoration. Gilt page edges. A binding in good condition but with light lifting of cloth along center of front cover. Hinges firm and binding tight. Pages are bright and clean throughout.  A pleasing copy of a treasured book. Macmillan London 1871
